Karina Gechtman is an international film marketing and publicity consultant with over 20 years’ experience working across production, sales and distribution for independent films and documentaries. She works closely with filmmakers to craft bespoke international marketing strategies from early development through production to festival launch and worldwide distribution. Formerly VP of International Marketing and Publicity at Anton, Karina has also held roles at Altitude, Secret Cinema, Paramount Pictures and Disney, and has worked with some of today’s most distinctive directors among them Asif Kapadia, Lynne Ramsay, David Mackenzie, Sarah Gavron, Clio Barnard, Noah Baumbach, Alejandro G. Iñárritu and the Coen brothers.
