Gemma is the Senior Director, Global Amazon Music at BMG, leading global strategy across worldwide markets.A seasoned music industry executive, she previously led Global Streaming Optimisation at BMG, driving global growth across a diverse roster spanning iconic catalogues and frontline artists including Black Sabbath, Fatboy Slim, The Kinks.

Her earlier career includes eight years at Universal Music Group, where she held roles across Digital Commercial Partnerships and Global Business Development, working closely with leading DSPs and delivering campaigns for some of the world’s most influential artists, including The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Billie Eilish and The Rolling Stones, as well as supporting the international breakthrough of emerging talent, notably working across the launch campaigns for Hozier, Lorde, HAIM and Sam Smith.

With deep expertise in digital retail, streaming strategy and global campaign execution, she is known for combining commercial insight with data-led innovation and strong industry relationships. A frequent speaker and advocate for equality, parental rights  (mother of 3 young boys) and sustainable careers in music, she brings a strategic, artist-first perspective to the evolving global music landscape.
