Angela is a BIFA-nominated and BAFTA-longlisted producer from South London. She started as a researcher for factual television, before moving on to Working Title Films where she currently works as Vice President of Production, covering the film & TV slate with credits such as Nida Manzoor’s POLITE SOCIETY and Coralie Fargeat’s THE SUBSTANCE. As a producer, her projects include short films ESSEX GIRLS (BFI) and MUNA (BBC Film). The shorts have played at over 60+ festivals each including Sundance, Berlinale, London Film Festival, Hamptons International, Leeds, Aesthetica and Raindance. She is currently developing her debut feature as a producer for BBC Film and Working Title. Angela is also co-founder of T A P E, a curatorial film collective focus on identity, heritage and culture, platforming shorts and under-represented feature films with cross-arts events. T A P E has collaborated with institutions and organisations such as the BFI, Picturehouse, Sheffield Doc/Fest, London Short Film Festival, Aesthetica, and has been featured in Dazed Magazine, Little White Lies and Screen International. Some of teh features T A P E has distributed include CETTE MAISON, SHABU, BIFA-longlisted documentary IF THE STREETS WERE ON FIRE and Independent Spirit Award nominee BYE BYE TIBERIAS. She was featured in Forbes’ 30-under-30 2022 and T A P E were named Film London Lodestars 2022.
