Jan Dybus (born in 1997) stands at the forefront of contemporary creative talents, merging a passion for timeless cinematic narratives with a keen understanding of modern, concise, digital storytelling formats. A product of the prestigious Westminster School of Media Arts and Design in London, he holds a degree in TV Production, enriched by mentorship from a BAFTA-awarded filmmaker. Beginning his career at Papaya Films, Jan’s early professional journey was steeped in diverse cultural experiences, collaborating with both American and British talents. This rich background has honed his ability to produce content that resonates on a global scale. Jan’s directorial portfolio includes the groundbreaking mini-series „Wilk 1” and „Wilk 2” („Wolf”), created in partnership with Canal +, showcasing his flair for innovative storytelling. His work extends to directing music videos for prominent Polish musicians, and commercials for leading polish and international brands such as: G2A, Modivo, Rossmann, SEXED, Samsung. His work led him to receive a SHOTS EMEA 2023 nomination for New Director of the Year. Jan has recently celebrated the debut of his first feature-length documentary, „KUBA,” on Amazon Prime, which received critical acclaim. Jan was born in 1997 so he’s currently 27 years old and has entered the proffesional commercial industry last year.
