Artist Maja Petrić’s “Glitched Sublime” uses AI, real-time climate data and immersive tech to question whether we can still reconnect with nature – or only simulate what is already disappearing.
Artist Maja Petrić examines the uneasy alliance between technology and the natural world.
She frames the "glitched sublime" as a paradox: where machines archive the same ecosystems they accelerate toward loss.

Developed in collaboration with computer scientist Mihai Jalobeanu, the exhibition's systems operate in real time.
The artwork exists in the same reality as the crisis it references and contributes to.

Nature is not visual.
It is psychological.
As these environments disappear, could we lose more than biodiversity?
