Sarath read Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, graduating with First Class Honours, where his dissertation centred on memory, identity creation, and borders. Both his studies and subsequent working life are informed by his interest in the relationships between people, media, and physical spaces.During his time at university, Sarath served as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Warwick edition of The Tab, a national student news site. He was also a Student Research Assistant for the project investigating the evolution of Leamington Spa as a university town. Growing up in both Chennai and Kuala Lumpur, then studying in the UK, has afforded Sarath a global perspective. He knows first-hand the power of communication to improve the built environment’s social and cultural utility.
