Emma has been at ClearBank for over four years, initially joining the company as its Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. In February 2024, Emma was appointed UK CEO of ClearBank, taking up the role following regulatory approval in October that year. In the newly established UK CEO role, Emma is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ClearBank’s operations in the UK and further strengthening the bank’s position in the UK market.
Emma has over 15 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking in first and second lines of defence. Before joining ClearBank, Emma was part of the team that launched Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in the UK in 2012, where she stayed for a decade and was involved in the full design and implementations of second line functions in the UK. Prior to SVB, she worked at Lloyds and HBOS in a variety of roles.
