Dr Emma Craythorne MBChB FRCP is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, and at One Welbeck. She is also an Honorary Lecturer at King’s College London and the University of Manchester. With more than twenty years of clinical and academic experience, she is recognised globally for her authoritative approach to common skin health issues and her ability to translate complex dermatology into practical, real-world life-changing solutions.


She is the founder of Klira, the personalised dermatology company transforming how people understand and manage their skin. Built at the intersection of medicine and consumer skincare, Klira is rapidly becoming one of the most disruptive forces in the industry, setting new expectations for efficacy, safety and scientific transparency.


Emma is also the face of the international television series The Bad Skin Clinic, now in its eighth series and broadcast in more than 140 countries. Her media work has made her one of the most recognisable dermatology experts in the UK, with regular features and commentary across print, digital and broadcast outlets. She hosts the podcast The After Hours Skin Clinic and is the author of the forthcoming DK book The Owner’s Guide to the Skin.
