Dan Clancy is Chief Executive Officer at Twitch. He is responsible for Twitch’s vision and global strategy, and ensuring that Twitch’s product, technology, content, and operations are optimized to support and empower Twitch’s global community. He previously served as President and EVP of Product. Prior to Twitch, Dan was the VP of Product and Engineering at Nextdoor leading product, engineering, and data science. In his nearly 10 years at Google, Dan was the Book Search engineering lead and led product ad engineering for YouTube. Dan began his career at NASA’s Ames Research Center where he was responsible for the computer science research including investments in autonomy, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Dan holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Computer Science from Duke University. He streams on Twitch as DJClancy.
