TATYANA

Tatyana is an electronic producer, harpist and singer/songwriter from London, UK.

Having always been a student of music and graduating from the piano to the harp and gaining a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Tatyana became obsessed with electronic music and developing production techniques that combined her musical talents with dancefloor ready hooks and songcraft.

Working with Brooklyn-based independent record label Sinderlyn Tatyana has evolved her sound through two full length albums that have seen her collaborate with Joe Mount from Metronomy, Lynks, PVA, Dave Okumu, Gabe Gurnsey and Mikko Gordon (Thom Yorke, The Smile, IDLES, Arcade Fire) Now, at the dawn of her third album Tatyana has refined her sound further to employ the club music characteristics that build suspense through squelchy synth lines and throbbing beats, and release through a combination of hook-laden vocal melodies and lyrical self examination with shimmering harp fills and glitchy effects.

Performing live as a solo figure surrounded by her harp, synthesiser and microphone Tatyana provides a slick and refined show that hits larger than the sum of its parts and sits between a club dancefloor and a pop star with the skills and versatility to grow to the largest stages.
