Cosmorat was created in a moldy, unfinished basement where a furnace fire was burning, emitting a low hum and whoosh. There was only a single light bulb that worked on the ceiling, creating a halo around Trae and Olly while they wrote and recorded their first song. Infusing influences of blues and indie music with pop melodies, fuzzy guitars, vocal soundscapes, and intricately composed drum and percussion parts, they conjure emotional responses with densely packed lyrics to create sonic movies.
