Cape Orange: It’s a little bit rocky, a little bit country and a whole lot of POP. The Cape Orange girls pride themselves in having as much fun as possible in their music, on stage and in recording, and their tracks mirror their tongue and cheek playfulness in their approach to the industry. Made up of Stevie Tebbutt (drummer), Maddie Harris, guitarist, vocalist,producer and fronted by Jen Thompson (lead vocals) the trio are a force to be reckoned with. Based in South London, the band was born after first meeting in a pub on their first week of uni, where they began to collaborate religiously, writing escapist, powerful pop tunes from their kitchen and bedrooms. Inspired by modern powerhouse vocalists and old school americanah rock, the girls have developed a timeless set that is ready to take on industry level heavy weights.

Recently named “one of the most fun upcoming live bands in London,” the girls have refined their phenomenal stage presence at tastemaker venues such as Brixton’s The Windmill, carrying crowds away with confessional lyrical charm and moments of intense vulnerability. Known for tossing shakers into the hands of the front row, it is clear that the band's priority is to build a world of their own on stage.
