Ruth Cayford

Ruth Cayford has led on the development and delivery of the Cardiff Music Strategy since 2017, as well as working on embedding culture-led regeneration in Cardiff, with a particular focus on how music can elevate urban development. Under her guidance, Cardiff has adopted and continues to develop progressive music-related policy, looking at supporting all music, at all levels across the whole city, from Primary School to industry. Cardiff is committed to a long-term vision, putting music at the forefront of the city’s development.
