Richard 'Kenny' Kenworthy is one-third of the Emmy-winning directing collective Shynola, known for their visionary fusion of animation, live action and performance.
Recently, he enchanted audiences with the Sports Emmy-winning ‘For Mexico For All Time’, which premiered at UFC 306 during Riyadh Season Noche UFC, dazzling crowds on the world’s largest screens at Sphere Las Vegas and with Shynola’s animated fable for the trailblazing ABBA Voyage show.
A relentlessly original filmmaker, Kenny and Shynola have spent over 25 years pushing creative boundaries across music videos, commercials, and film titles. Their eclectic portfolio includes iconic work for Radiohead, Beck, Coldplay, Blur, ABBA, Nine Inch Nails and The Rolling Stones. Also bringing his inventive eye to campaigns for Apple, Nike, Audi, Maserati, and PlayStation, and designed standout title sequences for The IT Crowd, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Mandy, and Netflix’s GLOW.
