Oliver Vince studied Computer Science and Engineering at Oxford, and earned a PhD in cancer drug research. He co-founded Basecamp Research and has led expeditions to extreme environments to collect genomic data. The company has built foundation models for drug discovery trained on unprecedented evolutionary insights and has been named one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in biotech by Fast Company. He serves on the World Economic Forum’s Future Council on Generative Biology.
