Mark is a Development Consultant within the Creative Industries with a varied portfolio of projects across both public and private sectors. His engagements always have a strong policy or business development focus, and specific strengths in targeted strategy definition; the combination of content and emerging digital technologies; and the connection of creative development to global markets.
In industry Mark held senior roles across the creative media sector, always in management and development, building new businesses and commercial revenues - from private SMEs to large media organisations, being a co-founder of an online start up or driving a sector development agency.
Mark is currently an adviser to the Department for Business & Trade, the West of England Combined Authority and the MyWorld creative technology R&D programme (based at the University of Bristol). He has recently led development research on the concept of a Western Creative Technology Corridor, spanning Cardiff / Newport / Bristol / Bath.
