Arsenal & England
Arsenal’s Player of the Year (2023/24), EUROS 2022 winner, 7th Most Powerful Woman in Sport (Woman’s Hour Power List 2023) and winner of the 2024 Charlton Award for her impact on football’s future, Lotte Wubben-Moy is a professional footballer making waves on and off the pitch.
For Club, Lotte was voted Arsenal’s Player of the Year (2023/24). For Country, she was part of the England squad for the EUROS 2022 (Champions) and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 (runners up). And off the pitch, she was named 7th most powerful woman in sport by BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour Power List 2023, honoured with the Charlton Award in 2024 for her impact on football’s future, and spearheads her free community programme - Lots to Explore - focused on creative exploration and football, for girls in North London.
For Lotte, football is a creative outlet and career that allows her to play out her dreams and create societal change. When her Arsenal contract was up for renewal, she negotiated the inclusion of resources to develop a free community programme focused on creative exploration and football, for girls in Hackney, Camden, and Islington. Her programme – Lots to Explore – is now in its third season and is expanding to reach more girls.
After winning the EUROs with the Lionesses in 2022, Lotte was the driving force behind the team’s open letter to the British Prime Minister - demanding equal access to football for girls in the UK. It was the catalyst for lobbying that resulted in the UK government's investment of £600m in school PE, to drive forward equal access to sport for girls.
