Giles Derrington

Giles Derrington is the Senior Public Policy Manager for the UK at TikTok where he specialises in economic, international and data protection policy.

Prior to TikTok he served as Head of Public Affairs for UK & Ireland at Deliveroo and as Associate Director for Policy at techUK, the digital trade body. He is also a former member of the Government’s Expert Group on Digital Trade. Giles started his career in Westminster, where he worked for the Liberal Democrat’s for almost a decade including as Head of Lib Dem Whips’ Office in the House of Lords during the Coalition Government and as the Head of the Party’s Political Advisor Unit.
