Fabio Tambosi is a sports marketing luminary who leads strategies at the intersection of sports, technology, and education to create positive change in people’s lives. As a Senior VP of Marketing at ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), the world’s largest esports and gaming company, Fabio oversaw EFG’s brand transformation into a global platform which connects brands with culture through esports events and gaming festivals, competitive esports leagues and tournaments, and online competitive gaming platforms - the communities beloved by fans in the worlds beyond gameplay.

Having worked at Nike, adidas, and Saucony, Fabio believes in the power of purposeful storytelling and the potential of creativity to change the way people see the world. Born in Brazil and trained as an elite soccer player, in one of his most recent work Fabio led the teams that transformed the Sportswear Apparel business from being worth $1.2bn to $13bn and relaunched the iconic brand at Saucony delivering an unprecedented YoY growth of 54% in 2021.

He was the driving force behind adidas’ most impactful campaign in history, Ready for Sport, a joyful exploration from the world’s celebrated athletes on what sport means to them, which gained 500m+ views. Before joining EFG, he served on the board of Saucony as a Global CMO, where he saw the expansion of the Originals business unit, the brand’s heritage lifestyle business, and the launch of Saucony’s Call Us Runners campaign, which celebrated the multidimensionality and drive of runners everywhere.
