An aerospace engineer who is CEO of two DeepTech companies, directing the Engineering Leadership team (which replaces the CTO position) in an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company. She is recognised as a Top Ten Global IIoT innovator, the #15 Most Influential Woman in UK Technology, one of the 21 most Inspiring Women in Cyber, and one of the Top 100 European Angel Funders. She pivoted her company FlyingBinary in November 2015 when Paris was attacked to become a counter terrorism company. The hardened DeepTech FlyingBinary builds is used by the UK, EU, G20 and the United Nations. She was shortlisted for a prestigious European PICASSO award based on a DeepTech regulatory collaboration with the UK ICO.

The last three years she has used her IIoT engineering skills in Ukraine to deliver innovative automated robotics solutions originally pioneered in the manufacturing sector to transition to a servitisation commercial model. She is using robotics automation in the AgriTech, Construction, Energy, Healthcare and Life Sciences innovation as part of the transition to dark labs where no human is in the loop.

She has thirty years of fundamental scientific IIoT research on the impact of technology on society. For the last 10 years, she has represented the UK as a Principal Technology Expert at National, European and International level. She has contributed her IIoT scientific research as an Editor of standards on Emerging Technologies, IIoT, AI, Cyber, Smart Cities, Metaverse and Net Zero. Her company FlyingBinary, is one of the 119 companies appointed to deliver secured and accredited AI services to the UK Government. Her AI expertise has been used to develop AI strategies with the UK Office for AI, the World Economic Forum and UKAS, who oversee the UK’s conformance assessment provision as part of the UK National Quality infrastructure.
