Daniela Elstner

Born in Germany and with a Master's degree in Modern Literature (Paris VII), Daniela Elstner began her professional career in France with Unifrance in 1996. In October 1998, she joined Les Films du Losange to set up the company's international department alongside Margaret Menegoz. In 2008, she joined Doc & Film International as a shareholder and Managing Director. Under her leadership, the audiovisual distribution company opened up to feature films and built up a catalogue of more than 800 films sold worldwide and recognized by international critics and festivals. Since the end of 2019, Daniela Elstner has headed Unifrance, the organization responsible for promoting French cinema and audiovisual abroad. Currently chaired by Gilles Pélisson, the association has over 50 employees and 1,000 members.
