Cecily Rooney is a Sustainability Manager at footwear brand Axel Arigato where she leads the company’s Responsible Business strategy across impact, reduction and engagement. With a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Theology and Ethics from the University of Manchester and further training from the Sustainable Fashion Academy, Cecily brings academic depth and industry insights to her work. Having held sustainability roles in-house at FARFETCH and ASOS, as well as at the not-for-profit Better Cotton Initiative, she has a breadth of experience across many aspects of the fashion industry. At Axel Arigato, she’s focused on embedding sustainability across the business and creating transparent, measurable progress for people and the planet.
