For over 15 years, Alex has led corporate innovation and R&D, driving the delivery industry-leading products, services and experiences in the global retail and technical apparel & gear space. As Vice President of Advanced Concepts at Arc’teryx, Alex spearheads delivery of innovative concepts for the Mountain Athlete— shaping future product potential from avalanche safety to dynamic thermal comfort.
With a background in materials engineering, Alex brings scientific rigor and relentless curiosity to Arc’teryx. Leading a team of forward-thinking researchers, engineers, makers and designers, Alex delivers breakthrough innovations to shape the future of the outdoor industry.
Alex lives in the shadow of the Coast Mountains, in North Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband and two young children. When she’s not throwing out the product rulebook, Alex spends her time skiing local mountains, riding bikes or cooking up wood-fired pizza in the backyard with the kids.
