Babak Parham is a Swedish-Iranian filmmaker, journalist, and radio producer based in Stockholm. Born and raised in Tehran, he draws on his bicultural background to explore themes such as identity, exile, and resistance. With over a decade of experience in documentary filmmaking and journalism, his work often blurs the line between fact and fiction. He graduated from Stockholm University of the Arts (formerly Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts), where he studied film directing. His company, Distorted Pictures, has produced films selected for Berlinale and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
