Changing the Course of Music Management

Without managers investing in talent development, artist careers were likely to flounder. Enter the Accelerator Programme for Music Managers: a groundbreaking grants and education initiative developed by the Music Managers Forum and YouTube Music, whose combination of seed finance and expert-led training has gone on to benefit more than 130 independent managers. More than that, Accelerator has brought individual managers together - fostering partnerships and a lasting community. With the MMF due to publish a new report that demonstrates the ”value” of music management, past participants and founders of Accelerator come together to discuss the programme’s impact and the importance of knowledge-sharing, planning and skilling-up.
