Toby Corton

Labelled a "community leader" by Brick Lane Jazz Festival for his work with Sounds Queer, Toby's work largely focuses on the intersection of queerness and music. As an advocate for developing emerging queer talent at the grassroots level, he has become part of the talent booking team at Mighty Hoopla, one of the largest LGBTQIA+ music festivals. His work supporting artists from the community, has been informed by his own work as a music creator, and studio owner. Running his London studio, State is Flow, with creative partner Maverick Quest, the pair work on records and sync projects, for the likes of Google.

Why I'm excited about SXSW London 2025: As a proud, Londoner, born in Hackney, it's amazing to see Shoreditch become an epicentre of global innovation, tech, film and most importantly for me, music. I think London truly is like no other place in the world, and I'm excited for us to get the chance to showcase that through the SXSW lens.
