Ian (Jnr Crawford) is the music programmer for EartH and Village Underground, two of London’s most exciting and forward-thinking live music venues. With a deep passion for discovering and showcasing new music, Ian has played a key role in curating a diverse programme that span genres and push creative boundaries. His experience includes years of working in the live music industry (as an artist, manager, label owner, promoter...), building strong relationships with artists, promoters, and industry professionals. Committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive music scene, Ian continues to champion emerging acts while bringing world-class performances to East London’s vibrant cultural landscape. Why you are excited about SXSW London 2025 I had the privilege of attending SXSW in Austin in 2018 and 2019, and the energy there was truly contagious. No other music conference I’ve been to in the UK or Europe has had the same buzz and I can't wait to feel that in East London. With Village Underground as a showcase venue in the heart of Shoreditch, I’m really excited to welcome so many music fans from around the world to our iconic space to discover new emerging acts, unexpected headliners and to witness the rise of future icons!
