Caglar Aydin

Founder of Mena Collective (Talent & Event Manager | Ex-Booking Agent) I have been actively involved in the music industry since 2009, working with numerous globally recognized artists and brands.

My extensive experience spans across artist management, event organisation, and booking processes. In Artist Management, I have discovered and guided talented artists, shaping their career paths. I have overseen the entire music release process, meticulously managing all contracts, publishing agreements, and legal procedures with second and third parties.

Among the artists I have worked with are those who ranked Top 3 on Spotify and YouTube in Turkey, the Balkans, and Central Europe in 2017, 2018, and 2019. To further enhance my expertise, I have actively participated in Event Management by attending international events to stay ahead of global music trends, new technologies, and emerging concepts. Through continuous learning and hands-on experience, I have developed and implemented strategic plans to bring my clients' visions to life.

In Booking, I have analyzed industry trends and built strong connections with artist managers. My excellent communication skills and high energy have allowed me to act as a vital bridge between promoters and agencies, ensuring seamless booking activities.

Regarding my educational background, I completed my primary and secondary education in Ankara (the capital of Turkey) before moving to Istanbul for University education. I graduated from Bahçeşehir University with a degree in Visiual Communication Design. In 2018, I furthered my expertise in Leadership and Strategic Development through an advanced program in Amsterdam, where I currently reside. I am planning to relocate to London in September 2025. Our company has 7 active employees, we manage 3 artists (Hozho, Pavel Petrov, Merzzy) and we take an active role in over 200 events a year all over the world.

Why you are excited about SXSW London 2025: I started to discover music and the industry that music is in when I was still in high school. Frankly, even though I had no knowledge at the time, I met a band at the Hürriyet Music Awards in Turkiye and wanted to manage them and the band came in 3rd in Ankara, I was only 16 years old :). When I look back at this exciting, endless journey that I started that day, I try to improve myself with the experience I get from taking part in projects that contain many different emotions. As a gift from this, I was very honored to be a jury member at SXSW London this year. I met great talents, I believed once again that music has no language, religion, race or gender and that everyone can be together and successful if they want to. I am glad that my dough was kneaded in this industry. I wish to take part in much more successful projects, i'm sure SXSW will open new doors for me too like others :)
