Almass Badat

Almass Badat is an International Showcase Producer, DJ and Artist. She has produced showcases at SXSW Austin, WOMEX, Americana Fest and Folk Alliance International. Since her BBC Asian Network residency, she now hosts Mass Movement, the breakfast residency on Voices Radio and her DJ roster includes Glastonbury festival, We Out Here, Dialled In and Elrow. Her podcast, What Is This Behaviour?, can be heard on British Airways long-haul flights and her collage art is supported by Arts Council England. As well as being on the SXSW London jury, Almass is a member of the BRITS Voting Academy.

Why you are excited about SXSW London 2025? I am looking forward to seeing the worlds of music, art, film, education and tech land in London through the inaugural SXSW London, reflecting back the city's multiplicity, vibrancy and music history.
