bib sama. is a rising star in the UK underground, earning spots on Complex’s UK Rappers to Watch 2024and NME’s 100 Essential Emerging Artists for 2025 through his innovative sound and talent. Known for his futuristic, video game-inspired soundscapes, he has become a standout voice in the scene’s resurgence.

A digital native, bib’s creative journey began at nine years old, ‘flipping skins’ in online games like Gaia Online and Habbo Hotel. As he grew, he developed a passion for art, teaching himself drawing and graphic design—skills he still uses to craft the visual identity of his music. Music followed naturally, with bib first rapping and producing beats in 2016. By 2021, his experimental blend of hyper-rap and unconventional production gained traction, with singles CLC!! and eternally!! building his buzz.

His debut mixtape PLATINUS (2022) cemented his status as a pioneer of alternative sounds, bridging hyper-rap and sigilkore, with his hit OUT! becoming his most streamed track. In 2023, bib’s momentum continued with the release of XCHRA and XCHRA II EPs, performances in New York and Brussels, and sold-out shows in London. His tropical-inspired single BAEFRIEND was named by Complex UK as the soundtrack to “the fading summer.”

In late 2024, bib made a powerful return with DOGMA, receiving widespread praise from the underground scene, editorial playlist placements on UK Fresh Finds, Free Flow, and We Move, and strong community radio support from REPREZENT and Triple J. His breakout moment came when he performed on On The Radar, a career-defining appearance that had the industry buzzing globally.
